We were down south over the holidays and were quite spoiled with lovely warm weather, in one of the prettiest cities in the whole wide country, spending time with some of our favorite people. We were pretty happy to hang with our adorable nephew Quinn who we haven't seen in close to two years! Time passes too quickly especially since we live so far apart from that little guy and he is growing up so fast. At two and a half he was full of energy and lots of fun to be around.

Quinn loved looking through his giant Charley Harper book and was fixated on the illustrations of the dinosaurs and storms inside. He is really into dinosaurs, especially T. Rex. One night we had a dinosaur party which was lots of fun and involved everyone, including Nana and GoGo acting like giant dinos in the living room. You know, roaring and clawing at each other!

Quinn is a pro on his balance bike. He rode in the park everyday but especially loved to go out after a good rain so he could ride through big puddles!

Andy and I also brought bikes and we had fun riding all over Savannah which is very flat and easy to get around. We rode out to Bonaventure Cemetery and also discovered a great bike path out in the marsh which was a very scenic spot.

Another highlight was a visit to Oatland Island Wildlife Center, where we saw lots of animals typical of the area. Most of these pictures were taken by our sis Alex who is an excellent nature photographer and you can check out more of her great pictures here. Ando, the movie expert informed us all that this is the setting for the film and story, The Dangerous Lives of Altar Boys.

A family shot in front of Diane's beautiful flower boxes! We had a great time and miss everyone and Savannah already. Luckily we are headed back in March to celebrate Erv's 70th! We can't wait.
