We will miss Biggy

Beloved Biggy passed away in early January from cancer. He was our dear friend. He was Andy's godfather and namesake. Big Andy became 'Biggy' to little Andy and his sister Alex - it was easier than saying 'Big Andy' when they were little and it stuck. He was best of friends with the Houston's and like an uncle to Andy. We shared many wonderful times including Thanksgiving meals, Mardi Gras and birthdays. And Biggy married us! There was never a kinder soul. We loved him as did everyone who met him. We think of him everyday. 

Quick Trip to Cleveland

On our way home from Rochester we stopped in Cleveland for a night. We had never been before and we were excited to visit their amazing public market. It didn't disappoint. 

Outside the market, we headed to visit the Great Lakes Brewery. Then we headed to dinner at the Sokolowski's University Inn for polish food and to get our fill of pierogies.

We really enjoyed Little Italy and had breakfast at Presti's. We also made a quick visit to the Cleveland Museum of Art, which is free. 

Overall it was a great little trip!

Baby's First Christmas

We think June had a pretty good time. And she was the best stocking stuffer of the year!

Meeting Great Grandma!

For Christmas we drove to Rochester to introduce June to her Great Grandma! What fun it was to arrive! Grandma Ruth and June fell in love instantly.
