One Month Old

Thanksgiving

Our first with June. We are so very thankful for our little girl. This year for the holiday we gathered with the Houstons, Smiths and Moores at Biggy's house. It was great to have our family come to Cincinnati all the way from Georgia and California. We love it when we can all be together.

Thankfully Alex got a full day of hanging and cuddling with her new niece. Poor Alex and Quinn were sick for the rest of the trip and so they kept their distance to keep little June from getting sick.

Melissa and Rob's Wedding - Pine Mountain, Kentucky

We took June on her first big trip to Eastern Kentucky to her Aunt Melissa's wedding. The wedding took place in a beautiful chapel at the Pine Mountain Settlement School. An incredible community of friends and family came from far and wide to celebrate the happy occasion with Melissa and Rob.

We've had some warm days so it was nice to get June out in the fresh air during her first week at home. We walked through our nearby Parkers Woods with June and Hazel Roy. And we took June to the Krohn Conservatory. We will have to take her back when she is awake so she can really take it all in. On her first trip, she slept the whole time.

June's Birthday

....was filled with rainbows of course! Nana and Gogo saw this one on their drive north to see baby June the day she was born.

Welcome Baby June!

We are now the happy parents of a little girl we call June. She was born on October 31st at 9:58 a.m. Her birth was very smooth and the labor lasted under 8 hours. She weighs 8 pounds and 8 ounces and is 19 inches long. She is very healthy and very sweet. We feel so lucky!!!

Colleen's mom, Nonna was there for the birth.

Nana and Gogo drove in from Georgia the very day June was born. They were planning to make the trip to visit and so June had excellent timing! 

We are home and happy to receive visitors!
