We had a wonderful time with Nana and Gogo in Savannah for Christmas. We helped set up the tree. Andy and Erv helped with luminaria on Calhoun Square. There were cocktail parties at neighbors houses including our favorite: milk punch on Christmas morning at Ron and Jim's. June enjoyed being with Nana and Gogo and gave Gogo a huge smile as soon as we got off the airplane. She greeted Nana with a big open arm hug every morning and loved playing with the cats, well mostly Big Willie who was the only one who let her come near. Opening presents on Christmas morning was pretty great too. We will definitely miss celebrating Christmas in Savannah but we were so glad that June got to experience Christmas there this year.
I love how she is looking at the card first!
Enjoying the clementine from her stocking!
Traditional eggs benedict breakfast on Christmas morning
Not really cooperating for the group photos
We visited Forsythe Park a fair amount to go to the playground where June enjoyed the swing set.
A sweet girl named Jasmine wanted to push June in the swing
We had a fun visit to Oatland Island, which is Savannah's version of a zoo but better because you get to walk through the woods and over marsh. It is an amazing setting. Gogo and June played in the giant nest.

Sleeping red fox
June's first time ever playing with kitties. She loved them.
Back at our house after the trip, all tuckered out from travel and a fun-filled holiday.
