Two Film Favorites

We can't wait for Spike Jonze's new film, Where The Wild Things Are.
And our favorite filmmaker Michel Gondry has finally released his new website: www.MichelGondry.com - One great feature is you can have Michel personally draw your portrait and send it to you.

Italian Easter Bread

My great aunt Angelina always made the most delicious Easter Bread. The whole family would get together to help. For the past five years, her daughter Mary Lou has been carrying on the tradition. This year the dough was the best its been since we can remember making it with Aunt Angie. Mary Lou got it just right!

Here Mary Lou is preparing the ham and cheese mixture.
Trays of assembled bread ready to go in the oven.
The final egg glaze on top of the lattice.
Ready for Easter!

Provident Camera Closes

We found out on Saturday that Provident Camera was closing it's doors after 80 years of business in downtown Cincinnati. Andy rushed down to get some last minute deals but the sales weren't so great and he didn't buy much. It is sad though how many small businesses are going under.

Opening Day in Cincinnati

Here's to our friend Jake for making this year's Opening Day one of the best ever with a concert at Arnolds at 9:30 a.m. (the bloody marys and baseball themed breakfast menu weren't bad either).

And here are just a few pics from the parade. This year was the 90th anniversary of Cincinnati's Opening Day parade.
