Bebe Fiesta!

We went down to Beaufort, N.C. to visit Alex and Jeff. They are having a baby which means we are getting a nephew. Woo-Hoo! Time to party.
We made homemade tamales!
Here is Jeff frying flounder for fish tacos!

Pinata!

Post-pinata fun for the kitties. This is one of Alex and Jeff's five black cats. Tori maybe? It's hard to tell them all apart.

One Year Ago...

Eden Park on March 30th

To celebrate our 1-year anniversary we headed to Krohn Conservatory, where we were married last spring. It was once more filled with fragrant white lilies.

In the tropical room it was steamy. This is what happened when we tried to take pictures.

Bockfest

Our friend Jake starred in this year's commercial promoting Bockfest.
Our friend Katie made adorable goat finger puppets, complete with beer cans, for last year's Bockfest. Here is Melanie sporting hers along with her Bock Beer.

Perhaps Cincinnati's best holiday - Cincinnati is home to the oldest Bock festival which is still thriving with a great parade and festive drinking to mark the coming of spring.
