Hazel Roy's Dog House

I finished Hazel Roy's dog house this week. Made with rough cedar planks (thanks John!) left over from building our raised garden bed and fence and scraps from our backyard fence. I wanted to get the archway slightly more rounded - right now to me it looks a little too gothic, less like the parabolic archways used by Gaudi which was the inspiration. Next on the to-do list is to make a whale weather vain to match the one on our garage. Have to wait for my welding/blacksmithing classes. I did have to bribe the Haze to actually get in the dog house for this picture, but I think he'll learn to love it.

Hazel looks pretty happy with it already! And I love the Gothic look.

Very Cool! I personally like the Lancet (gothic) arch! :) Good job!
