Day One: Glasgow

Here is Andy in front of the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum. We are staying in a guesthouse adjacent to Kelvingrove Park, a great location.  Glasgow seemed a bit charmless til we reached this spot....but maybe it was just the stressful driving.

Inside the Kelvingrove Museum is an eclectic combination of art and natural history and Scottish history.
A skeleton of a Giant Irish Deer from the Ice Age or something like that.
This exhibit was awesome and perhaps best shows how interesting the Museum is.  Notice the bottle of Scotch Whiskey called Famous Grouse by the stuffed grouse.
We visited the Glasgow Botanical Gardens which has the most beautiful greenhouse that looks like a giant birdcage.  An appropriate honeymoon destination since we were married in a greenhouse back home.

We can't remember ever being in a whole room devoted to carnivorous plants before.
Uh-oh Mr. Spider.  That plant's gonna eat you.

Ando looks cute in his rain gear.

NICE rain jacket! Colleen, did you leave Andy at home and instead take a 12 year old boy with you?

You guys should detour through roswell.
