Our first full day in Skye was full of rain and wind. We attempted to hike in the Cullin Hills but turned back. It was not the best day for it and Andy's cameras were getting wet.
So instead, we decided to visit the Talisker Distillery on Skye. We tried some scotch which was very warm and nice but we must say the tour didn't hold a candle to the Maker's Mark Distillery tour in Kentucky. Here are a couple pictures from our Maker's Mark trip last April.
After the tour we opted for a bit more hiking. This time we headed into Glenbrittle Forest.
We ended up at a lovely hotel on the Trotternish peninsula where we looked for seals through a telescope. We saw some! They were too far away to get good pictures of.
Our big splurge - dinner at The Three Chimneys. It was amazing! We would recommend it to anyone honeymooning in Scotland!
