This Old House

Our house is 90 years old, originally built in 1919. In the 3 1/2 years since we've moved in, we have done a lot of work on the place with tons of help from Frank. Someday we will post pictures to show some of the projects we've done. Already this year, we faced a major plumbing problem. A huge crack formed in 2 sections of the main stack of our plumbing and was flooding into the basement. Here we cut into the wall in the dining room to locate the cracked pipes (with Frank's help of course). The cast iron pipes had to be pulled out- which extended all the way to the basement, so they had to be cut into sections to be removed.

All of the old cast iron pipe on the curb.
